Instrumentation
The topics developed during the
Course will be:
1) Introduction to Data Acquisition Systems (Basic Knowledge of Analog and
Digital Electronics)
2) Fundamental differences between automation with PC and PLC, pros and cons
3) Study of the operation of data acquisition cards (analogue inputs and
outputs, digital ports and counters)
4) Training course on LabVIEW programming
5) Practical data acquisition exercises
6) Digital Instrument Multimeter DMM Counter Control
7) Overview of DAQMX and PXI industrial systems.

Introduction to Data Acquisition Systems
Overview
of the various "waveforms and data" signals that can be sampled, what
is a data acquisition system, what is meant by data capture and sampling,
description of various industrial data acquisition systems, examples of field
applications ,
How to evaluate which instrument is suitable to use.
Basic Differences between Automation with
PC and PLC, Pros and Cons
Overview
of how the PLC was the forerunner of applications with the PC, where and how it
was used, where it is still used, and what applications are best used by the PC
to have better and less demanding solutions from the point of view of the PC Structure
Software and Hardware, Interfaces for isolation from the analysis field.
Study of the operation of the data acquisition
cards
Configure
and verify the operation of the hardware through the MAX (Measurment
& Automation Tool Manager).
Acquisition,
Sampling and Signal Generation, Analogs with Common Ground NRSE and
Differential, Digital PNP (Negative Output) and NPN (Positive Output), CTR
Input and Output.
